IKEA Kingston Collection Point

Location makes picking up IKEA furniture easy if your not near a store. Staff are friendly and my order was very quickly brought to the loading door to load into our vehicle. They took time to verify I had the correct amount of items and provided me with the invoice/receipt if there are any issues.

It is absolutely outrageous. We came from Toronto and they were closed due to weather. What weather????We came from Toronto and there is no snow. Roads are dry. What is most upsetting is that we talked to a guy the day before and we said we are coming to pick up our items next day. At least they could have texted us and told us not to come. Ikea service was really nice after hearing about our trip from TO. They accomodate us with the items being reserved for us in Toronto.Thank you Ikea!!!!

Would give this a zero if I could. Location is poorly marked. Even with phone appointment was told order was not in. One hour to locate it. Tried to send us away with 1/2 of the order. took us to a truck and showed us a truckful of items not processed for a week. Absolutely does not meet the standard of Ikea and should not represent the business in any way. Real shame. Will always somehow make the drive to Ottawa instead. Click and collect in Ottawa is amazing.

They were quick and friendly. There is no doorbell you have to call the number on the door and they will come. But they don't help you load, you have to do that yourself so bring your own help.

This was my first time doing a collect order through Ikea in Kingston pick up location, and I would do it again and again! Everything arrived perfectly and the service from a young man named Brock- who single handily loaded/packed everything neatly into my car (including a king sized bed frame)!

If you are thinking about ordering from IKEA during the pandemic, save yourself the headache, and just don't!It is understandable that businesses are backed up right now, especially with shipping, however, there should be an option to cancel an order if I am unable to talk to a customer service representative!I placed an order May 11th that said it would take a few days to ship. They didn't tell me until after I received my invoice, and they took my money out, that it will take a minimum of 6 weeks (which we are now over by 2 weeks). On their website, there is no email option for customer service at this time, nor is there a chat bubble that appears (I have tried on all my devices). When you call, you either get a busy signal or an automated message that says that their call volumes are so high that they can't take your call.I have wanted to cancel my order because it is supposed to be shipped to my parents' address, who are moving from their house at the end of July, and I am panicked it will not arrive in time. However, there is no option to cancel without talking to customer service it appears, who again, is impossible to get ahold of!I have reached out through Facebook and I have reached out by a random email that they had on their website, but have not heard anything back.Save yourself the headache.

If you are looking for something that seems like an official IKEA branch outlet with Swedish minimalism and berry drinks on tap then you're in for a big surprise. Think truck loading station with a tiny sign stapled to a nearby telephone post to tell you where you need to go (Bay 10). Call the number, give your name and order number and the service is swift and friendly. Don't forget your ID

After reading all these reviews, I figured I should call in the morning to make sure my order was there even though I got the text. The lady on the phone was very nice and she said the order was indeed there.I googled the building ahead of time so it was actually quite easy to find. They must have added an extra sign where to pull in since the last few reviews, it wasn't hard for me to find at all.The man unloaded the boxes directly into my van, and was very nice as well.Overall I had a good experience!

My husband picked up a bed and all of it's parts for me the other night and an individual brought the items out on a skid, dropped them at my husbands vehicle and said there you go". He left my husband and my son to load these large

Disappointed with the kingston pick up location and customer service. Hours online show they would be open until 8pm yesterday for pick up. Called in the afternoon just to confirm with ikea customer service. Drove and hour there to pick up, arrived at 715pm door was locked with a hand written sign saying closed at 7pm. Called the number on the sign, the guy who answered was inside working on filling trucks and would not give me my order. I told him the website says opened until 8pm and i had confirmation and i called ahead of time. He would not let me pick up my order. Arranged a truck, gas, 1 hour hour there, 1 hour back, time spent came home without the 5 pieces of furniture i ordered. He says that ikea had authorized them them close at 7 for the last 3 weeks. Not updated on website, i can over look, but i called to confirm. Not cool. On the phone with customer service for 46 minutes on my lunch break, still waiting for acceptable resolution.They reached out....Good morning, here is my order number ##########. I am yet to receive a call from a supervisor to look at resolution options. I am not looking for a discount off my order, i am requesting that my order now be shipped to home. I have been told that it can not be done from the kingston pick up location. I only 7 days as per my email to pick up my order. I had to arrange a truck and pay someone to drive there to pick up. I can't do this second time. Its and hour there and an hour back. I was told if they send back to the warehouse then my order is cancelled. It took almost 2 weeks of checking everyday to make sure that all 5 pieces of furniture were all in stock at the same time. Your order has already arrived at the Collection Point, and our service provider does not conduct deliveries from the Collection Point to our customer's home address. Note that even when your order gets returned to us, a refund will be processed, and it will not be redirected to be shipped to your home.
